ST ANDREW'S Methodist Church in Winsford is playing host to a special concert this weekend in aid of its roof fund.
The church's flat roof has fallen into a bad state of repair and has been causing problems since it was built 25 years ago.
It will cost nearly £40,000 to replace the roof, of which the church needs to raise around £12,000.
So that's why Grange School pupil Jo Reeve, 17, has stepped in to help out.
Her mum Lynda is a member of the Methodist church so Jo, of Goldcrest Close, has volunteered the services of the school choir, of which she is a member, to give a concert free of charge on Saturday, April 27.
All proceeds from the night will go towards the cost of replacing the roof.
The concert will start at 7.30pm at the church in Dingle Lane and tickets are £3 on the door including refreshments.
