A NEW Nantwich PR agency has been helping to drive David Beckham to pieces! And we're not talking about his foot.

As the nation worries over his World Cup fitness, the England captain has been the subject of Manchester artist Mark Kennedy's latest work.

'Beckham Finally Cracks' is part of his 'Mosaic Icons' exhibition, presented by the Creative Consultants Gallery in the City's fashionable Northern Quarter and sponsored by Nantwich-based Pink PR.

The unique piece of artwork was signed by Beckham and auctioned off for £2,350 in front of a VIP crowd, in aid of his favourite charity - the Kirsty Howard Appeal for Francis House.

Pink PR owner Lisa Baker said: "This was a great opportunity which Pink PR simply couldn't miss. We'd been planning to hold a charity event of our own in aid of the Appeal but hadn't found the right location, so when the Creative Consultants Gallery approached us we jumped at the chance

"As well as the satisfaction of being able to raise cash for the Kirsty Howard Appeal, sponsoring the event has also helped to raise our profile with a target VIP audience.

"It just goes to show you don't have to work or live in Manchester to succeed there in business."

Lisa left Northern Profile PR in Manchester in September, last year to set up Pink PR back home in Nantwich.

"It's great, now after only a few months, to already be working with major names like Learndirect and haute couture designer Shaya," added Lisa.
