VOLUNTEERS are needed to help keep the Mid Cheshire Football League on its feet.
At present there is a growing lack of qualified referees to take charge of the games and the Cheshire Football Association is calling for all residents in the area who might be interested in donning the black outfit to get in touch.
Already this season the lack of officials has affected games and in many cases clubs are now being asked to take charge of their own games.
The FA is interested in talking to anyone who wants to take up refereeing regardless of past experience or current, professional qualifications as training will be provided.
Anyone interested in applying should ring 01606 75314 and speak to Bob Floyd.
