THREE consecutive defeats have cost Weston CC top spot in NSD League Senior A after leading the championship race all season.
Silverdale have taken advantage of an untimely dip in form, last Saturday's defeat coming by five wickets at Wood Lane.
Weston's total of 145 never really looked defendable.
An opening stand of 38 between Paul Tibbetts and Matt Dulson showed promise but another top order failure had them in trouble at 81 for 5 and the lower order were left to try and post a decent target.
Only Tibbetts with a patient 37 and Gareth Lello (35) showed any resistance.
Wood Lane's Barker (21) and Hancock (42) rode their luck to take the score on to 63 before the first wicket fell.
Hayat (47) continued the charge and although losing three wickets en route, the home side coasted it.
Weston need victory at Boltons and Oakamoor to stop the rot.
