o A COMBERBACH woman walked along the Great Wall of China to raise money for Cancer Research.
Rachel Whipp, aged 28, of Cogshall Lane, joined around 60 other people in the event.
Rachel herself raised more than £3,000 and the group as a whole raised more than £200,000.
Her mother Diana said: "She thought the charity was a worthwhile course.
"It was absolutely superb and she had a wonderful time."
o COMBERBACH WI is holding an event called 'Game for a Goose' at the Memorial Hall on Monday, September 2 starting at 7:30pm.
All will be revealed on the night.
