AMATEUR football clubs around Halton observed a minute's silence at the weekend in memory of Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells.
The tragic events surrounding the deaths of the two 10-year-old Soham schoolgirls touched the whole nation. They were avid football fans and supported Manchester United.
The Football Association asked all football clubs - professional and amateur - to pay their respects.
