DEDICATED members of an over 50s exercise group have been rewarded for completing a 24-week programme of exercise.
The athletes of the Gentle, Easy Exercise (Gee) Up group were given a water bottle and a T-shirt for their efforts in completing the course.
The Gee Up class are part of the Halton Council-led Healthy Living Project and they have been doing a weekly set of exercise at Murdishaw Community Centre.
Healthy Living Project is funded by the National Lotteries New Opportunities Fund and the Government's Single Regeneration Budget and it focuses on four areas - physical activity and sport, eating, complementary therapies and arts for health.
Lynne Atherton, from the HLP, said: "The group only started with two people and by word of mouth we have increased to up to 20." Call Lynne on 0151-424 2061.
