WOULD the Davenham Parish Council clerk please reread my letter to the Guardian? At no time did I question the decisions of the parish council but asked them to name the anonymous parish councillor who stated at the parish meeting that 'they are telling people to fill in ponds because of the danger, and here we have a pond'.
Mums bring their toddlers to the rock edge along the side of the pond to watch the various fish and the visits of the heron and ducks, then take them on a short walk through Blenheim Close to the enclosed play area.
In the Guardian this week he mentions me in his personal letter and also the community news, but no mention is given of the councillor.
