A TRIBUTE to George Harrison has been unveiled at the Matthew Street Gallery, Liverpool. A photographic retrospective of the former Beatle details his life from the days playing clubs in Hamburg, to the heights of Beatlemania and finally to his solo success.
The exhibition runs until October 9 and Melissa Storey, gallery manager, said: "We are pleased to present this exhibition in the city of George's birth, especially at a time when so many fans will be here to enjoy it."
Last weekend saw the city hold the annual Matthew Street Festival with special tribute to Harrison. The gallery is at 31 Matthew Street and is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm.
