Not painful viewing however was Sky's super interactive coverage of the US Open, last night.

Largely down to the doubles match with my personal dream-team of Martina Hingis and Anna Kournikova.

My thanks go to Tatiana Perebiynis and Tatiana Poutchek for drawing it out to three sets!

I still find it hard to believe these two 'lovely ladies' pair-up - despite the fact they've already won two Grand-Slam doubles titles already of course!

Not that I'm complaining.

Good luck to them too.

How do our boys fair? I can't see a title for either of them.

Fifth seed Tim Henman was impressive in his straight sets demolition of Tuomas Ketola but that shoulder injury is bound to tell if he makes it into the latter stages.

Greg Rusedski managed to take out Alex Kim in four sets but he hasn't got it, plain and simple.

Wimbledon changed my mind about Lleyton Hewitt.

Apart from his obvious tremendous ability, the guy plays with a passion and vigour that's admirable.

An attitude that unfortunately many of our sportsmen lack.

With the way tennis in particular operates in Britain and the class of people that play it, I can't see us ever having a Lleyton Hewitt type of player.

Shame.
