A WALK is being planned to raise much-needed cash for heart patients.
Warrington Heart Support Group is organising the event to boost funds for the coronary care unit at Warrington Hospital and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service.
The walk will take place on Sunday, September 1, when fundraisers will meet at the Ram's Head pub in Grappenhall village at 10.30am.
They will then complete either a three- or five-mile circular walk via the Bridgewater Canal towpath and the Trans Pennine Trail.
Most of the walkers involved have had heart problems, or have friends and family who have suffered with heart conditions.
Everyone is welcome to take part in the event.
