A WARRINGTON theatre group has taken Edinburgh by storm - and now those not lucky enough to catch their Scottish success can watch them closer to home.

Rezerection performed at the fringe festival last week and fresh from their critic wowing success - they received five star reviews from www.edinburghguide.com - they are back in action at Rylands Social Club, Gorsey Lane in Orford tomorrow night, Friday.

Converting Lyle was jointly penned by Rob Grams, who came up with the idea, and Glyn Jenkins who directed it, and promises a riot of laughter.

Rob says the audiences in Edinburgh enjoyed the performances, and encouraged Warrington people to see for themselves what all the fuss was about.

He added: "If people are looking for a great laugh that is what they will get, but there are real issues here as well as people are looking for something deeper."

Rob explained that the fringe had been better than any of the 14-strong group could have imagined and was a fantastic experience.

Glyn said: "We had gone fearing the worst but the best happened, there were no problems and from the beginning to the end it was really good."

The group also managed to get a taste of some of the other entertainment going on across the city and have vowed to return next year with a new play.

They are now in negotiations with the Pyramid to showcase Converting Lyle over a longer period, later in the year.

The show starts at 8pm on Friday and tickets, available on the door, are priced at £3.50.
