CONGLETON High School pupils Jonathan Fryer and Daniel Bird are celebrating their stunning exam successes.
Jonathan gained 11 A-star GSCE grades, and his technology exam result placed him among the top five in the country.
Fellow pupils Daniel achieved six A-stars, four As and a B grade in his summer exams.
Other outstanding achievements included the six A-stars gained by Emma Carroll and Karen Twigg, while Naomi Sells gained five A-stars.
"We are delighted and proud to have students who have achieved such outstanding results," said headteacher Les Jones.
"We are proud too of many other students - top GSCE grades are eight per cent up on last year.
"This is an excellent achievement by the talented and hard working students.
