Andrew Norman, who is a pupil at Manchester Grammar School, received eight top-grade GCSE results.
He also achieved an A* in French last year and his Latin grade was in the top five marks across the country out of 1,711 candidates.
Michael, who lives in Appleton, is now hoping to do A-levels in French, German, Latin, English literature and language
