EDINA Hensey, aged 16, left Penketh High School in July, went into the Connexions office and said she wanted to find a job as a receptionist.

She was asked to look through several jobs which were on offer and she picked out one for Parry's Motors, Warrington. A member of the Connexions staff talked to her then rang Parry's. Edina was then able to talk to the company herself, an interview was arranged and she got the job. Just two weeks elapsed between Edina leaving school and being in work. "I didn't realise how easy it would be. I am very happy in my job and I was very pleased with the help I got from Connexions", said Edina
