SUMMER fun has been on the menu at Golborne High School for the past few weeks as part of Wigan Council's kids festival, and as the events wind down, children have enjoyed a bumper range of activities this week.
The kids festival has kept little ones busy throughout the holidays with a fantastic range of sport and recreational games for the under 12s, operating through the Wigan Play Association.
This week little people enjoyed organised activities with adult supervision in arts and craft workshops, play stations, indoor and outdoor activities and sports skills.
Children have packed the centre for the events and enjoyed specially themed craft days like 'alien invasion', 'hopping mad' and 'crafty clay'.
