WARRINGTON Wolves will finish third from bottom of Super League VII and avoid relegation, predicts the Guardian.

The final table in our crystal ball leaves Salford at the basement, Halifax in 11th spot and Warrington Wolves in 10th - three points clear of the bottom place.

Final positions are based on our predictions of Warrington Wolves winning two of their remaining four games.

The safety points will be collected with victories at Halifax on Sunday and against Salford City Reds at Wilderspool on September 15. Finishing spots are concluded on the strength of the view that Halifax will not win any of their remaining games and Salford will win only one.

Predicted results of final games:

Warrington: Sept 1, Halifax away, win; Sep 8, Castleford home, loss; Sep 15, Salford home, win; Sep 22, Wakefield away, loss.
