CAN someone explain to me why there was traffic chaos on Bridge Foot on a few mornings last week. Schools were not back, so there wasn't extra traffic on the roads. But once at the roundabout, queues backed up and the traffic lights seemed to be out of sync, so that vehicles were stranded on the box junction, even when they'd legitimately gone through on green.
