A SCOUT troop from Latchford is on the move - but it's putting down new roots just a stone's throw from its old HQ.
Members of the 2nd Warrington West pack have seen their ranks swell out of all recognition.
And as well as a new base, they will be allowing girls to join in the Scouts, Beavers and Cubs fun from this Saturday. Formerly the troop regularly gathered at Latchford Community Centre, off Knutsford Road. But now they will be meeting at the old Guides building, off Loushers Lane.
People interested in joining the group, which is currently 45-strong, should contact Doreen Carnell on 631137.
