THREE new appointments have been made at Animated Displays, Golborne, the largest manufacturer of animated sets and models in the United Kingdom.
Phil Evans, aged 32, has been made general manager. Phil has worked for the company since he was 16, and has done everything from sweeping the warehouse floor to sculpting the models.
He met his wife, Elaine, through the company. She has worked there for nine years and is currently administration manager.
Keith Frost and Paul Smith, both aged 42, have been appointed as project managers They were both previously sales executives with the company and were promoted to their new roles after Animated Displays was taken over by Centre Design, based in Gateshead, the biggest designer and manufacturer of large scale Christmas decoration schemes in the UK and France.
