PENKETH teenager Becky Haggett will be jetting off to Africa after weeks of fundraising.
The 18-year-old has almost managed to get together the £3,500 needed to secure her a place on the Raleigh International programme through a range of events including a quiz night and complementary therapy day. Generous people in the community also made donations to help Becky on her way. She heads off to Ghana in October.
