The wedding has taken place at Warrington Register Office, of 42-year-old Mr Ian Potter, youngest son of Mrs P. Potter, of Mason Street, Howley, and the late Mr L. Potter, and 26-year-old Ms Linsey O'Donnell, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs. A.J. O'Donnell, of Canberra Square, Orford. Deputy Superintendent Registrar Denise J. Young officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, and wore a red velvet dress with fitted bodice and skirt designed by Tusneem Jamil and a headdress specially made by a local designer. She carried a bouquet of red roses with peacock feathers, and her jewellery was a self-designed crucifix necklace, made by Michael Negrim, and a bracelet, a gift from her grandmother.
Best man was Gary Leicester, and groomsman was Matthew O'Donnell, bride's brother.
Matron of honour was Phillip Ward, and bridesmaids were 13-year-old Claire Potter, bridegroom's daughter, and Amanda O'Donnell, bride's sister.
The bridegroom is an ex-professional footballer and the bride is a classic car specialist.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Italy, and met while backpacking across India.
