The wedding took place at Warrington Register Office, of 21-year-old Mr Richard Cameron, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Cameron, of Highgates Close, Bewsey, and 22-year-old Miss Joanne Schofield, of Station Road, Padgate, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Schofield, of Highgates Close, Bewsey.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore an ivory full-length long straight skirt, with matching train, and bodice decorated with pearls, and a gold and pearl tiara style headdress. She carried a bouquet of long stem gold and ivory lilies with grass stem foliage, and her jewellery consisted of gold and pearl teardrop earrings and matching necklace.

Best man was Andrew Mason, bridegroom's cousin.

Bridesmaid was Claire Schofield the bride's sister.

The bride is a clerical assistant at Warrington Hospital, and the bridegroom is a warehouseman/driver at RM Cable Trays, Warrington.

The couple spent their honeymoon in London.
