The wedding has taken place at St Thomas's Church, Ashton-in-Makerfield, of 24-year-old Mr Philip David Rimmer, only son of David and Pamela Rimmer, of Bodmin Road, Tyldesley, Manchester, and 23-year-old Miss Sara Rochelle Myers, eldest daughter of Graham and Eunice Myers, of Barham Court, Heathfield, Warrington.
The bride wore an ivory satin gown with embroidered bodice and train and her short-stepped veil was secured by a gold tiara.
Best man was Graeme Garside.
Matron of honour was Lisa Dawn Myers, bride's sister, chief bridesmaid was Donna Andrews, and bridesmaids were Danielle Jade Myers, Chloe Settle, bride's nieces, and Jessica Onions. Pageboy was Scott Onions.
The bride is an administrator clerk at ECF, Warrington, and the bridegroom is a teacher at Fred Longworth School, Tyldesley.
A reception was held at the Holiday Inn, Ashton-in-Makerfield.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Malta, and first met four and a half years' ago at Birchwood tennis court.
