The wedding has taken place at St Joseph's RC Church, Penketh, of 27-year-old Mr Anthony Tilston, son of Eileen and Ken Tilston, of Birchfield Street, Thatto Heath, St Helens and 31-year-old Miss Louisa Marie Foster, of Woodbank Road, Penketh, daughter of Margaret and Alan Foster, of Bideford Road, Penketh. The Rev. Father Joe Bibby officiated.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an oyster coloured straight dress with flower pattern and a pearl and crystal headdress secured her straight veil edged in lace. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies, cream roses and ferns and her jewellery consisted of pearl earrings and necklace.

Best man was Derek Carson, and groomsmen were Stephen Noonan, bride's brother-in-law, Derek Ellis and 12-year-old Matty Noonan, bride's nephew.

Matron of honour was Jacky Noonan, bride's sister and bridesmaids were Andrea Keiley, Carrie Tilston, bridegroom's sister, and three-year-old Ellie Evans, bridegroom's niece.

The bride is employed as a secretary and the bridegroom is a plasterer.

The couple spent the honeymoon in Florida and also went on a Caribbean cruise.
