Mrs Annie Lesnikowski, wife of the late Mr Witold Lesnikowski, died of a severe stroke at Warrington Hospital on August 6. She was 78.
For the last 18 months, she was a resident of Nazareth House, Widnes, and was a former tenant of Pine Grove, Paddington. She was born in Leigh and lived in Warrington for most of her life. She was employed as a telephone supervisor at UKAEA, Risley, for 27 years.
She was an avid reader, who also enjoyed listening to music, and a little earlier in her life, travelling and holidays abroad.
Mrs Lesnikowski was devoted to, and cherished by, her family, and leaves a daughter, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
A service was held on August 13 at St Lewis' Church, Croft, followed by cremation at Walton Lea.
The Rev Father Vincent Burrowes officiated.
Arrangements were made by Warrington Funeral Services, of Great Sankey.
