The wedding has taken place at Walton Hall Gardens, of 55-year-old Mr Arthur James Russell, only son of Mrs Agnes Tickle, of Ennerdale Road, Orford, and the late Mr Charlie Russell, and 49-year-old Mrs Jennifer Lynne Weir, of Chiltern Road, Orford, youngest daughter of the late George and Maria Allcroft, formerly of Cadishead. Registrar Jackie Farrell officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother Tom Allcroft and wore a full-length ivory silk gown, with a gold and pearl tiara. She carried a bouquet of lilac, pink and oyster coloured flowers and her jewellery was a cultured pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet.
Best man was Andy Green. Matron of honour was Rachel Atherton and flower girls were 12-year-old Darrell, nine-year-old Sian and six-year-old Danielle Atherton.
The bride is a duty manager at KwikSave, Irlam, and the bridegroom is a HGV driver at Colliers, Manchester. The couple spent their honeymoon in Marmaris, Turkey.
