The wedding has taken place at Costa Dorada, Dominican Republic, of 34-year-old Mr Paul Henry Ratcliffe, eldest son of Thomas Henry and the late Gwyneth Kathleen Ratcliffe, of Stonecrop Close, Locking Stumps, and 37-year-old Miss Janine Ducker, youngest daughter of Joe and Myra Ducker of Wiltshire Place, Norley Hall, Wigan.
Judge Bernardo Pen de Coo officiated.
The bride wore a cream two-piece outfit decorated with gold brocade, a cream and gold headdress, and carried a bouquet of white, yellow and gold local tropical flowers.
The bridegroom is a distribution operations manager at Safeway, Woolston Grange, and the bride is a production operative for Jaguar Cars, Halewood.
The couple are members of Wrightington Club, regularly attend the gym, and the bridegroom is a keen Manchester United supporter and follows English football, both at home and away.
