The wedding has taken place at St Elphin's Parish Church of 26-year-old Mr Kelvin James Cannon, only son of Phillipa Cannon of Secker Avenue, Latchford, and 24-year-old Miss Donna Marie Brown, eldest daughter of Stephen Edward and Audrey Carol Brown of Scott Street. The Rev Michael Finlay officiated.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a two-piece dress, consisting of a gold brocade bodice trimmed with duchess satin silk and full skirt with train, and a gold and pearl headdress with gold trimmed veil.

She carried a bouquet of large red roses and her jewellery was a diamond necklace, earrings and bracelet.

Best man was Andrew Keating and groomsmen were Marc Eric Brown, bride's brother, Nick Wheeler, and Harry Swindells, bridegroom's nephew.

Matron of honour was Jenny Massey and bridesmaids were Julie Holt, Madelaine, Gemma and Rebecca Levy, bridegroom's cousins, and Niamh Swindells, bridegroom's niece.

The bridegroom is a computer games designer for Warthog, Cheadle, and the bride is branch administrator at Pertemps, Warrington. The couple spent their honeymoon in Cyprus and Egypt.
