HUNDREDS flocked to the town's historic Legh Street baths to celebrate the reopening of the venue's family pool.
Last May the pool, and the neighbouring general pool, were forced to close for urgent roof repairs.
But with the family pool now reopened, Golden Gates Leisure has held a fun day to mark the occasion.
One of the most popular events was a free swim, but youngsters also enjoyed face painting, and there was free use of gym facilities, toning tables, sunbeds and sauna.
