HUNDREDS of Warringtonians didn't disappoint when it come to sinking a skinful in the name of charity.
The town's ever-popular Oktoberfest made a welcome return to the Parr Hall at the weekend, with Rotary Club organisers aiming to raise £10,000 for seven Warrington charities. And with a fair few Wobbly Bobs, Black Parrots and Cherry Bombs quaffed over the three days, hopes are high that the target will be reached.
More than 60 ales and 37 bottled beers, sponsored by Warrington companies, were available for punters to sample. For more Oktoberfest pictures check out the Guardian's website, thisiswarrington.co.uk
