A TINY baby from Winwick has become a film star at two weeks old!

Amber White, from Winwick Park, will be making her debut screen appearance in Entering Blue Zone, a story based on screenwriter Rosemary Kay's experiences with her child's premature birth.

The infant actress, who was born two months early, was in Warrington Hospital when the film crew approached the neo-natal unit seeking permission to film there.

And Amber weighed in at 4lbs 6oz, making her the perfect size to play the baby in the film.

Proud mum Denise, who is now back at home with Amber, said: "My daughter's a true star. I can't wait to show her the film when she's a bit older."

Rita Jones, manager of the neo-natal unit, said: "The whole day was an exciting experience and we all worked hard to ensure Amber was as comfortable as possible as the cameras were rolling.

"We've been told we're invited to the premiere of the film, which should be very exciting."

Entering Blue Zone was commissioned jointly from BBC Films and the Film Council New Cinema Fund for BBC Two, and is expected to be released next year.
