IT'S not only adults that can break world records, as Kathryn Matthews recently proved.
The hungry 12-year-old has set a new world record - by eating 108 Smarties in three minutes.
Even more amazingly, Kathryn had to eat each chocolate sweet using a pair of chopsticks!
She claims the key to her success is to swallow the Smarties whole, without chewing them - which wasn't as much fun as it sounds.
In fact she is now completely sick of Smarties and won't be eating any more for a long time.
Other world records:
Longest-Running Children's Programme:
Blue Peter
Longest Sneezing Bout: 978 days
Largest Annual Food Fight: Last year 38,000 people took part in the tomato-flinging festival of La Tomatina in Spain
Largest Burger: A beefy monster weighing 6,040lbs was fried in the US
Longest Cat: Snowbie, the world's longest cat, measures 103 cm from nose to tip of tail
Smallest Dog: Big Boss, a Yorkshire Terrier living in Thailand, is just 11.94 cm tall
