A LECTURE on 'The home of the mammoth onion - vegetables for every taste' will be held on Thursday, October 24 at the Kirkfield Hotel, Church Street, Newton.
The event is free and open to non-members of the Newton Gardeners' Association. The talk covers vegetables from the common to the unusual.
