WIDNES powered their way to another emphatic victory over their rivals from North Wales despite the loss of several key players and the introduction of a further two new debutants.
The much-improved visitors showed great determination and the game was only decided in the final quarter.
With the home forwards slow to settle, Wrexham enjoyed some good early possession and it was only some fine back play that enabled the Wids to remain in front throughout the match.
The second half produced far more positive rugby with Wiseman and Mullarkey enjoying their debuts and the forwards eventually gaining control.
Precise passing and varied set plays allowed Doolan, Wills, Mullarkey, McLindon (2) and Kerr (3) to storm over for the tries with conversions by McLindon (4) and Kerr (4).
A hard fought win which again showed the character of the squad.
