ON Saturday, October 12 my wife and I attended a concert at the United Reformed Church given by the St Helens Youth Brass Band, conducted by Lynda Nicholson. I feel I must write to congratulate Lynda and the Youth Band for giving us such a wonderful evening.
The band, which consists of local young people, was a credit to Lynda, their parents and St Helens itself. Their turnout was immaculate as was their playing. The commitment and dedication of Lynda Nicholson to these young people was reflected in the way the band performed.
