DARESBURY was alive with the sound of music last week when a junior chorister was acclaimed for his high level of commitment to the community.
Daniel Fawcett, aged 10, was nominated best chorister of 2002 and was awarded the coveted Fred Lawrinson shield that stands in memory of Fred - the organist and choirmaster at Daresbury who gave 40 years of service to the village.
