RESIDENTS in Winwick have been celebrating after receiving two prizes in this year's Cheshire Best Kept Village competition.
Winwick Parish Council collected the Most Improved Community Award and Warrington Countryside Environment Award - and £350 in prize money - at the ceremony in Macclesfield.
The countryside award was presented in recognition of the work carried out on the John Parr Wildflower Meadow at Radley Common.
The competition was organised by Cheshire Community Council and the prizes come just two years after Winwick won the overall award for the best kept village in Cheshire.
