GIRLS across Warrington will be wising up to their career options at Padgate High School next week, with the help of a team of engineering experts.
WISE, Women Into Science and Engineering, will join the school for a full week from October 28, offering a tour of their educational vehicle.
Year nine girls from across the town will get the chance to use specialist facilities on board and explore the world of science and technology, with an emphasis on job opportunities for women.
The WISE campaign is run by The Engineering Council, the Engineering Employers' Federation and the EMTA, the national training organisations for marine manufacture, to promote engineering as a suitable career among girls and women.
The WISE vehicle programme is just one of the initiatives run on behalf of WISE by Nottingham Trent University.
