YOUNGSTERS from Burtonwood Primary School enjoyed a special harvest festival at St Michael and All Angels Church.
The service was part of the church's week-long festival aimed at promoting activities in the community, and there were also displays and recitals.
Pupils were asked to bring packets of long-grain rice and hygiene packs instead of fruit and vegetables, and the charity Jacob's Well will be sending the parcels to a children's clinic in Kabul.
