ONE of Cheshire's oldest pubs has re-opened after an £80,000 facelift.
The Cholmondeley Arms opened in Church Street, Frodsham, more than 110 years ago, and has since become a local landmark.
Licensee Pamela Quinn, who has already seen trade increase since the re-vamp, said: "The investment by Burtonwood will help to ensure the Arms is still around for future generations.
"But good food and real ale is always a winning combination with customers and the end result is a thriving pub and thriving local economy."
