A GREAT Sankey club is celebrating the reopening of its bar after a six-week revamp program.
Members of Eagle Sports Club, in Thornton Road, have been enjoying the new improved bar and lounge facilities.
Sheila Clutterbuck, at the club, said: "Everything's been done, from laying new carpets to re-upholstering the seats.
"The next project will be the refurbishment of the bottom part of the club where the indoor bowling is."
The club is also celebrating news that a recent charity night, when entertainment included a band and raffles, raised £400 for St Rocco's Hospice.
