SNOOKERS A stormed back to the top of Warrington Snookers Centre Snookers League Division One with a thumping 6-1 victory over Winwick Social.
They replaced Monk A, who dropped back to second spot after losing their unbeaten record at Culcheth Legion.
However, the form team of late has been Alford D. This week they moved up into fourth place in the table on the back of a classy 7-0 whitewash at Rylands A.
In Division Two, unbeaten Bridgewater Club moved into pole position after a 5-2 success against Kings Club A.
Previous leaders Alford A lost their unbeaten record against Rylands B, who leapfrogged them into second place.
In-form Matthew Daniels knocked in a superb 59 break to help Penketh Legion B annihilate Alliance B 7-0.
Alford B and Stockton Heath B continued to lead the way in Division Three. They both recorded 6-1 wins this week with Kings Club C and Penketh Cons providing their respective opposition.
Monk C, who recorded a 5-2 victory over Woolston C, stayed in second place while Chris Hoyland fired in the division's highest break of the season to help St. Benedicts defeat Alford C 4-3.
