A CHARITY tournament staged by Rixton-with-Glazebrook Bowling Club has raised £586 for Warrington Society for Deaf People.
Supported by the Rotary Club of Irlam, the event saw Glen and Dave Haines, from Croft, beat Albert Phoenix and Ian Wright in the final.
A club spokesman said: "The standard of bowling was again very high with lots of close games. It was declared a success by all the competitiors."
