Mrs Annie Hampson, wife of the late Mr Joseph William Hampson, died on September 18, aged 83.
Mrs Hampson, of Church House, Riverbank Nursing Home, formerly of Cotswold Road, Orford, was born in Warrington and had lived in the Orford locality for the last 40 years.
She was last employed at Richmond's Gas Stove Company for eight years, before becoming a housewife and mother.
Mrs Hampson enjoyed knitting, reading, holidays in Scotland, and she recently flew on Concorde.
She leaves a daughter, two sons, three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
A service was held at the Parish Church, followed by cremation at Walton Lea. Captain Jackie Recchia, Church Army, officiated.
Arrangements were made by Cheshire Funeral Services, of Gorsey Lane.
