COUNCILLORS in Lymm have welcomed news that the village's recycling bins will be collected more often - but they say that it's still not enough.
The borough council has confirmed that the recycling units on Davies Way car park will now be collected and emptied twice a week, but the parish council wants collections to take place even more frequently.
Clr Ian Marks said that while the increase in the collections was welcomed, there remained a problem of rubbish piling up outside the bins, especially at weekends.
He added: "I am by no means convinced they have done enough and they need to increase the frequency even more."
The parish council agreed to write to Warrington Borough Council requesting more collections.
