Crosfields 1
Knutsford 1
CROSFIELDS put in a vastly improved performance to pick up a point in Mid-Cheshire Soccer League Division One.
They completely dominated the first half. The visitors hardly got out of their own half but Crosfields failed to score.
Knutsford's confidence grew as the game wore on and they took the lead in the 50th minute via a 20-yard shot from Faulkner.
Crosfields then brought on substitutes Lawler and Carl Pye and it was the latter who scored a deserved equaliser in the 83rd minute, firing home from 18 yards out.
Green, playing in an unaccustomed centre half position, was outstanding for Crosfields.
