MAKE your voice heard is the latest message from Weaver Vale Housing Trust.

New faces and new ideas are wanted for a series of special meetings organised by the trust.

The housing association is calling on tenants and other stakeholders to get involved in discussion forums where they can raise subjects of interest or concern.

Anyone is invited to have their say on any topic including rent, repairs, improvements or even anti-social behaviour and to hear how the trust is performing in important areas of service provision.

Tracy Ollier, tenant participation officer at Weaver Vale Housing Trust, said: "We want as many people as possible to take part in these area forums.

"It's important to us that tenants have their say because we want them to be involved in shaping the future of the trust and its services.

"They will have the chance to ask questions and gather information about all sorts of topics - anything from security to refurbishments or home insulation.

"The emphasis of the area forums will be determined by the issues raised by the people who attend.

"We've never tried anything like this before.

"In the past there has been a joint meeting for these different areas but we think that the 'local' focus will be more effective.

"The people who come through the doors may not have been to a forum like this before but that doesn't matter. New faces and new ideas are always welcome."

The meetings are as follows:

Northwich - Northwich Memorial Hall on Tuesday, March 6, from 6pm to 7.30pm

Frodsham - Council Chamber, Castle Park on Wednesday, March 5, from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Any tenants wishing to attend who may have problems with transport orwho cannot attend and would like to discuss an issue should contact Tracey Ollier on 01606 545189 or email her at Tracey.Ollier@wvht.co.uk
