My eldest daughter, who is 23, has broken off all contact with me and I do not know why. I miss her so much, and wish I could put right whatever has gone wrong between us.

Give her a call and speak to her. Things can only get better if you talk, you know what you have said or done, now make it right.
Put out the olive branch till she takes it. Take a long look at yourself and see how you can make this happen, don't let a petty argument ruin what was and could be a good relationship
