NORTHWICH RUFC return to first team action in RFU Powergen South Lancashire Cheshire Division One on Saturday.
They take on Leigh in a re-arranged game at Moss Farm (2.30pm), where Northwich 2nds will take on Holmes Chapel 2nds.
On Saturday they lost 22-15 at Wilmslow, while the 3rds won 14-7 at home to a veterans team from Macclesfield.
Northwich 3rds are away to Whitchurch 4ths this Saturday.
l NORTHWICH RUFC U16s ventured unsuccessfully into the unknown on Sunday.
The boys faced new opposition from a touring Croesyceilog side from South Wales, but despite tries from Will Thompson and Mark Johnson, with conversions from Johnson, they slumped to a 24-14 defeat.
Northwich U15s were more successful as they won 27-17 at Whitchurch.
They pressurised the home side from the start, scoring within two minutes when Phil Jones touched down in the left hand corner.
Outside centre Andy Oultram bagged a brace of tries, one being converted by Sam Naylor, before Whitchurch pulled one back before half-time to trail 17-5 at the break.
Whitchurch then scored two more tries to level the scores at 17-17 but this was where their comeback ended.
Matty Waters scored after gathering a poor clearance kick from the Whitchurch stand off. Naylor then converted before Jones completed the scoring by bursting through the home defence.
Northwich U13s lost 60-7 at home to Mold, their only try coming from Jonathan Shaw and converted by Richard Dale.
